The Australian Associated Computer Club (AACC) is focussed on providing help to its members in using their computers and learning more about computing and other related technologies. We are a computing club and cater primarily for members who use Microsoft Windows and applications that run on it.
We do this by providing a friendly atmosphere. We have members ranging in experience from those with their first computers through to some who work in the Computing Industry and are recognised by professional bodies as Certified IT Professionals.
Regular services that we provide are:
The 2nd Tuesday of the month we conduct a day meeting where we present a tutorial, you can discuss your computer problems or ask questions with AACC members and visitors in a more informal atmosphere. The meeting is held at Araluen Community Centre, Henry Kendall Gardens, 150 Maidens Brush Road, Wyoming between 9:30am and 12:30pm.
Question & Answer (Q&A) Sessions
As part of every AACC meeting, the Club facilitates Question & Answer sessions where more experienced members are available to provide answers and guidance to your important questions and to help you with any problems that you might have.
These events are held periodically on selected weekends during the year to cover topics that need more time than a tutorial can provide.
The AACC provides information on its web site that is informative and technical in nature in order to help make computing easier, educational and fun!!!
The AACC is governed by its own constitution originally based on the Department of Fair Trading's Model Rules. The AACC does not condone acts of computer piracy, breach of copyright or acts considered unacceptable or discriminatory in any way.
